The Shows
Each week you get to hear a variety of bands spanning multiple genres as well as the artists stories, inspiration behind their music, or general fun facts. In addition to hearing each song, listeners will be given insight into who and where their music comes from in an effort better understand what goes into making the sounds they enjoy.
Baby Punk highlights music and literature that stand for punk and feminist ideologies, written by artists actively trying to make a difference in their communities. A wide variety of music and literature genres will be highlighted - punk of course, but also indie, pop, rock, etc. For literature - fiction, non-fiction, books, short stories, poems, biographies, etc. The theme of Baby Punk is to encourage others to get involved in their communities politically through supporting and sharing art, and of course, staying educated.
Each week listeners get to hear a blend of alternative rock and pop. Mixes of shoegaze, new wave, nu metal, and more. It can be melancholic or rage-filled or plain groovy. Just a few songs to make you feel a bit like you’re floating out of your body.
Bee's Bedroom is a companion show to life's slow moments. With music that focuses on more of a relaxed vibe, genres ranging from soft rock, to folk and even some pop. It'll be like sitting on the floor of your best friend's bedroom, talking about life and reminiscing about the past
Each week you'll hear a theme that is loosely based on a specific emotion or moment. At the end of each playlist I'll play at least two of my friends' interpretations of the theme. That way people can hear some other points of view rather than just one. I plan on speaking for a couple minutes each episode about the music I play and the theme of the week so that people can hear the person who picked the music.

Hummin' Happy is the show dedicated to playing all things mid-to-late 20th century. A blend of all your favorite classics, ranging from the folk of the 60's to the grunge of the 90's. If you feel like you have heard enough of the classics but still crave that classic sound, this show does not hold back on the hidden gems of the past, digging into bands only few have recognized. This show shines heavy light on various cultures who deserve honest recognition of their rocking jams. Every week I hope to challenge the minds of my listeners by playing them artistic disciplines in the music world that deconstruct what music is and can be. More specifically I’ll be focusing on playing genres like noise, musique concrète/sound collage, drone, and various stripes of experimental styles in this vein. While focusing on noise/experimental music might sound too specific, there are lots of different styles and eras to explore like how hip hop is the all encompassing term for the over 50 years of history the genre has. On the show I will show the beauty that exists in these artistic endeavors and the intense new emotions that come with them.
Each week I will play classic hip hop, rap and r&b songs that you don’t hear on most radio stations anymore. We will also play newer songs that you might have never heard before.
To bring back the era of a radio personality, I offer a chill, charming audible environment, blending the inbetweens of rock, indie, and alternative into one hour long session.
Spit Up! showcases a different variety of music every week that ranges from Punk to Indie to Post-Hardcore. Each show has a different theme for the music, and has call-ins from the listeners to hear my input on their favorite bands and artists. I also go through the history of the movement or band every show, and overall the show has a rebellious feeling and attitude.
